Advanced Sculpting Facial and Intraoral Massage

This treatment its like a deep tissue massage for the face and jaw. Brilliant to offer relief from jaw pain due to clenching or grinding, but also as to aid lymphatic drainage and release tension across the whole face and head.

After a quick cleanse of the skin, we start with a massage across the décolletage, and shoulders, up the neck and over the scalp, before moving onto the actual face.  Then, using gloved hands, we move onto the intraoral or often referred to as “buccal” massage. This involves massaging the muscles of the jaw and cheeks from both inside and outside the mouth.  This part of the treatment is optional, but the benefits make it so worth it.  The whole treatment finishes with another cleanse of the face to leave you feeling fresh.

This treatment can leave you feeling quite tired and achy in the face area, its very important to take it easy and drink plenty of water. Once this feeling has passed, you should feel great, with a more supple jaw and relaxed face.

Sports Massage

Are you an active person looking to maintain your fitness and mobility or an office worker wanting the aches and pains from your desk-bound job to melt away?

Sports massage uses a targeted approach to focus on specific areas of your body that need attention. This could be as a result of injury, poor posture, repetitive strain or overuse. I use strong pressure levels to reach deep layers of muscle and connective tissue and techniques such as stretching, compression, friction and trigger point therapy.

Dry needling or Cupping therapy can be incorporated into the treatment as needed or wanted. And I will happily give you some exercises or stretches to do at home to help you continue to feel better in your body.

Aromatherapy

This popular holistic massage harnesses the power of plants and massage to transport you to a place of serenity and peace, leaving you to unwind and rejuvenate.

The essentials oil work through absorption and inhalation, creating a luxurious and calming setting whilst deeply nourishing the skin. As you inhale the oils’ aromas your state of relaxation will heighten, triggering soothing emotions and easing tension from your body.

This tranquil experience offers many physical and emotional benefits from reducing muscle tension, relieving aches and pain to significantly reducing stress and balancing hormones.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is a soothing and relaxing treatment to support you through all the changes you are going through, both physically and mentally. Designed to relieve muscular tension, aches and pains and be some time to take the weight off during your second and third trimesters.

Working around you, I make sure you are comfortable and fully supported, using plenty of pillows, bolsters and blankets to create a cosy environment. It is entirely up to you which areas are massaged, whether you’d like a full body treatment, or if you’d prefer to just focus on the areas in need. This time is for you to enjoy.

Indian Head Massage

Part of the Hindu health care practice of Ayurveda, Indian head massage focuses on your head, neck and shoulders and was originally used to improve scalp and hair condition. It is a deep massage,
using a variety of pressure and techniques, including circular massage strokes on your scalp, deep tissue work on your shoulders, and stretching the neck.

Traditionally a seated treatment, but easily performed laying down if you think you’d prefer that to relax. It doesn’t seem sufficient to say that a good Indian head massage will relax you. It’s more than this. It can make you feel detached and serene, leave you sighing and wordless, but also alert and clear-headed, alleviating brain-fog and stress.

Yoga

The yoga I practice and offer is Hatha Yoga. One of the original Eastern schools of yoga, Hatha is accessible to everyone. It focuses on using gentle but challenging poses to teach us how to meditate and still our minds. As a result, you will become more aware of your thoughts and feelings and learn to manage them rather than become overwhelmed by them.

Hatha Yoga will also help you to relax and unwind. It can unfold you from your desk or commute at the end of a busy day and help prepare your body for a good night’s sleep.

I offer classes and 1:1 sessions online and in person at a variety of locations. Alternatively, I can visit you in the comfort of your home. The times and length of sessions are designed to fit with your busy lifestyle. This includes 40-minute lunchtime sessions and 1 hour evening classes.
